BEGINING

STAY-FIT…STAY-HEALTHY-520x250

Over the years I have been invited to speak in forums, address gatherings and write columns in newspapers and magazines on contemporary issues. After the release of my book, I began receiving letters and emails from people from all walks of life, who wanted my advice or hear my views.Kidney donation and the nokkukuli issue saw a heavy increase in the number of letters. I was looking for an efficient channel to communicate with people and thought that a website with ablog would be ideal, especially in today’s world. It provides a platform for ideas, views and a forum for readers to post comments. I look forward to an active interaction with all my readers. Happy reading!

I really appreciate , admire the way you reacted to those guys while the Nokkukuli Issue. It is only your confidence which made you act likewise. Then about Kidney donation I cant explain how much i felt it. Only a humanitarian could donate a part of his life to the deserved . Hatsoff to you . Only your confidence and no compromise in quality is your success your strength. Keep going on with flying colours.

Only a human being with strong will power and confidence could help anyother life by detaching a live part from his body and donating to another. I salute your attitude and kindness to give your kidney to someone who is not at all related to you.

Nokkukuli issue has made you a powerfulman apart from a powerful business tykoon.

Salutes for you.

Dear Sir,

I am Vandana, presently in my final year of M.A.Communication from Hyderabad Central University and my friend, Svati has finished her Masters from Cardiff University. We are aspiring documentary makers and are currently working on our first documentary on Euthanasia.

The aim of this documentary is to focus on active euthanasia and the debate surrounding the same, in the light of the Aruna Shabaug judgement. Our documentary also wishes to open discussion about our health system with reference to Euthanasia. We are hoping to explore medical, legal, social aspects of the issue as well.

While doing our research, we came across your petition as well as your website. We would like to know if it would be possible to interview you for our documentary. Also, since it is the first time we are venturing out to make a documentary, we are looking for financial assistance, in any manner. Would you be able to support us in any manner. Do let us know.

Thanks.

Regards,
Vandana Radhakrishnan

dear sir,i am the wife of dr,santosh thomas.a cosmetic dental surgeon, who happens to be in ur facebook account.i went thru the social conscious page and could not withhold myself from congratulating u for the bold outlook regarding euthanasia.apart from the legal side ,the chuch may also have problems regarding this.my father passed away at the age of 62 on feb11th 2010.he too was for this thot ‘n had also made a bold decision to donate his body to the medical college after death for the medicos study.thereby we as his family stood by his wish ‘n today he is amongst the students of jubilee medical college, trichur.he used to say that burial would finish us off within a short span, but this would make us useful even after we leave. the church was not very much for the idea of body donation, but fr.francis alappat helped us do the same.
your site reminded me about my dad ‘n felt like thanking u from the part of the society coz i feel that u are a man who believes ‘n lives above self.such philanthropically thinking minds reach the lord ..’n not the people who believe in prayer only ‘n no noble doings.
may god bless u ‘n ur family.
regards,
julie.

We have plenty of good educational institutions already running . Presently I don’ t have the idea of setting up such institutions. I have other priorities to be taken up.

Dear Mr Chittilapilly,
It is indeed a very noble act to become an organ donor. I am impressed by your initiative to help people who suffer from organ failure. In reality this better than undertaking a charity which donates money.
I am indeed a big fan of you in all respects. The way you built up your business empire in a ‘business hostile’ state was also equally impressive.
May God bless you with long life, to continue your outstanding service to humanity.
Warm Regards,
Dr Jude Jose

I work 4 a Govt Company and was to uplift certain (iron pillar structure)items to be transported to our office neaar B’lore. As usual the loading workers cane and demanded @Rs 3/Kg which translated to around 50000/-, which obviousilly we cannot pay.No help came from the law agency and neither the items could not be handeld by me alone. Some body suggested an accoount manupulation which would help me in paying the union, but I know it is wriong. I have not taken any illgotten money for my own benifits. I decided to whelve the job of transporting and reported to my superiors. Can I be held resposnible for inaction. Or should I have achieved the target trough not so fair means

Dear Sir, I sincerely feel that your life is much more precious than mine and so I am willing to donate one of my kidneys to you (only) in case your single kidney fails any time (My God, let it never happen!)
